Todays Tip: People fail because they’re kept busy do unessential tasks, instead of focusing on what is essential. They’ll have a massive ‘To Do List’ and they’ll tick off a pile of tasks each day, but fail to do any task that helps achieve their goals.
So here’s the answer: Write a list of everything that needs to be done, and then pick the top three personal tasks and the top three business tasks and then work on them first before doing anything else. Checking your emails are not that important.
Everyday you should be doing a task that leads you closer to your long term goals, and in this podcast Greg McKeown wasn’t just talking about five or ten year goals, he went on to say that you should have a 100 year goal. What legacy do you want to leave behind.
And finally, after identifying your top three essential tasks, pick the most important and work on that first before moving onto number two.

Side note: We’ve all heard about multitasking and it’s been proven that we are less efficient when we try to multitask. Staying focused on one task at a time will be far more productive.
STAY FOCUSED DAILY AND ACHIEVE BIG THINGS
