In business you need to do the same, stay relevant and stay in tune with what people want, and make sure you give it to them.
Takeaway two: (From Christine) Richard Branson’s favourite place is his home on Necker Island. During a large tropical storm it was hit by lightening and it was completely burnt down. Fortunately he was uninjured and his family were safe, and he could have used this as an excuse to leave the island for good, but instead he pulled out a huge piece of paper the following day and started planning the rebuild. He took positive steps immediately and didn’t wallow in the negatives.
