#1: Speed - you can self publish a book much faster, usually within 3 to 6 months, compared to 1 to 2 years with a traditional publisher. 

#2: Control - you have totally control over cover design, layout, the editing process and marketing. And most importantly where, when and how it is marketed. 

#3: Permission & Ideas - you don’t need anyones permission to begin writing and if you have an idea, no matter how bizarre it may be, you can write about it. The market will determine if it’s any good or relevant. Ideas have NO LIMITS.
