Today’s Takeaway:
When you find something you love to do, make sure your success doesn’t distract you from it long-term. For example, if you’re a success writer and you LOVE TO WRITE, don’t be distracted by the allure of more money by running seminars, courses, workshops and speaking gigs.
Yes the money may sound great, but if it takes you away from what you really love to do is it really worth it????????? Think about it.
Other points not shared on the video, but definitely worth sharing:
- Really great work is never appreciated in the beginning. Even Jesus would agree with that.
- There’s so much noise today you have to do more, more often, to be noticed. You can’t write one book and live off of it anymore.
- All careers today are based around having good communication skills.
- Stoic people are not surprised by unfairness, and the world will break your heart if you think life is supposed to be fair.
