HOUR 208: $100 MBA podcast with Omar Zenhom, Episode 865: Starting A Business In A crowded Market.
Today’s Takeaway points:
#1: A lot of people think they need to create something new when they hit the market, but the problem with that is no one is looking for it, so it takes a lot of time, money and effort to promote it.
#2: The best thing about a crowded market is it proves people want that particular product or service. You just want your slice of the pie and there’s three ways to do this.
- Differentiate yourself from everyone else.
- What pain points are you going to solve.
- Find your NICHE in the market, because if you try to speak to everyone, you end up speaking to no one. You become very vanilla.
